The 2023 China International Digital Economy Expo will be held. It was learned from the press conference of the 2023 CIDEE held by the Information Office of Henan Provincial People’s Government on September 1, Shijiazhuang, as the permanent venue for the expo, is dedicated to creating a professional, wonderful, and effective digital economy event. With careful planning and meticulous arrangements, the city has taken various measures to provide maximum convenience for participants, including accommodation, catering, transportation, exhibition access, and security. The preliminary service guarantee work has been basically completed.

According to the introduction, Shijiazhuang adheres to the principles of striving for excellence and focusing on details and has established 8 working groups for service guarantee, security guarantee, environmental improvement, foreign affairs services and others. Special work plans have been formulated, and each aspect has been repeatedly simulated.

In terms of accommodation and catering, Shijiazhuang has selected 32 hotels as reception hotels from the entire city, providing more than 3,700 reserved rooms to improve the quality of accommodation services. The dining environment has been optimized by offering various dining options such as banquets, buffets, fast food, and on-the-spot meals to meet the dining needs of participants and visitors.

Regarding exhibition services, the city has involved relevant units in advance and made advance judgments, formulated the work plans and emergency plans and conducted on-site drills have been on food safety, fire safety, medical and health services, water and electricity supply, network communication, and meteorological services to ensure the safe and orderly conduct of the expo. 1,500 young volunteers have been recruited from 6 universities and colleges and have received multiple rounds of training on reception etiquette, foreign affairs services, and cultural promotion to provide thoughtful and meticulous services to guests and visitors. The digitization and upgrading of the Shijiazhuang (Zhengding) International Convention and Exhibition Center have been carried out to enhance the convenience of exhibition viewing with new digital technologies.

In terms of transportation, the city has set up 3 dedicated parking lots and over 4,000 parking spaces in and around the Shijiazhuang (Zhengding) International Convention and Exhibition Center to ensure the travel needs of conference attendees, residents, and tourists during the expo. Meanwhile, it advocates intensive travel and priority for public transportation, optimizes bus capacity, and adds dedicated routes. Especially on September 8th, the public open day, the audience can take the subway or special bus routes to the exhibition for free.
